Please note that Starry Paradise Learning Centre represents as SPLC in the following terms and conditions.


I, the parent of, hereby acknowledge and permit that my child to participate in the full range of program activities except as specifically noted by me in the health information section of the registration (where applicable).


I hereby agree that in the event of an accident, injury or illness involving my child, that I cannot be reached at the time or if the emergency is such that time does not permit such contact, SPLC officers, directors, employees, volunteers and agents is authorized to act on my behalf in case of an emergency and to take appropriate steps to have a doctor attend to my child, with no liability on the part of SPLC and their employees. I hold SPLC, their officers, directors, employees, volunteers and agents harmless from any and all actions, claims, damages and liabilities of any nature, arising from any decisions by SPLC or injury to my child that are not the result of negligence on the part of, or are entirely beyond the reasonable control of SPLC and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers and agents.



I hereby give permission for my child to participate in each and every field trip and outing, with 2021 SPLC Summer Camp. I also give permission for my child to travel by school bus to any field trip that transportation is necessary. I understand that we will be advised of the field trips one-week prior. I declare that my child is physically fit and ready to participate in the field trips. I will not hold liable SPLC for any accident or injury occurring on or arising from the normal course of any field trip. I do authorize emergency first aid care to my child in the event that my child becomes injured or ill during the field trips.



I hereby agree to allow photographs and/or video recordings to be taken of my child, to be reproduced, published, displayed, broadcast, including without limitation on SPLC internet web sites, in SPLC printed materials, or in any other materials or medium, based activities or events that include real people, for marketing, advertising, promotional and/or communication purpose. 



SPLC cannot accommodate allergies of any kind or any special dietary restrictions. SPLC do not recommend the meal plan for children with special requirements. SPLC recommend children bring their own lunch and snacks to camp.



For the protection for all of the children in SPLC as well as the health of my child, in the event that my child becomes sick, the parents/guardians or emergency contacts will be notified and prompt pick up arrangements will be made. If my child is sick, unable to play outdoors, and/or unable to participate in regular daily activities, alternate arrangements for care must be made. Children with infectious illness, flu, fever, diarrhea, vomit, unexplained rash, conjunctivitis/pink eye CANNOT attend.



  1. Payments and registration are due at least TWO-WEEK prior to the camp start date.

  2. Summer Camp Payments are non-transferable.

  3. A $30 administration fee will be charged on each dishonoured cheque.

  4. Cancellation requests received with more than TWO-WEEK notice prior to the registered start date will receive a refund minus an administration fee of $25 per camp week cancelled. Cancellation requests received with less than TWO-WEEK notice will receive a refund of HALF of the camp week(s) that cancelled.
    Cancellation requests received is not qualified for a refund.



Please ensure prompt drop-off and pick-up of your child, SPLC has a early and/or late penalty charge of FIVE dollars ($5) for every five minutes, or part thereof, payable to the supervising staff member.



Schedules, dates and activities are subject to change due to inclement weather conditions and unexpected emergencies.



Sunscreen, hat, weather appropriate 2 full sets of spare clothing, a pair of indoor shoes and reusable water bottle
